Use

In this Customizing activity, you define the settings that are necessary to extract the data of templates for SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search.

You need to maintain the following data:

  • Server Group
    That specifies the server group for the parallel extraction processing.
  • Maximum Tasks
    That specifies the maximum number of parallel tasks.
  • Maximum Resubmission
    That specifies the maximum number of attempts to resubmit tasks.
  • Task Timeout Limit
    That specifies the timeout for task execution in milliseconds.
  • Package Size
    That specifies the maximum number of objects in a package for a task.

Recommendation

We recommend the following values:

  • Maximum tasks: 10 tasks
  • Package size: 200 objects
  • Maximum resubmission: 2 attempts
  • Task timeout limit: 600 seconds
