Use
You can use this Customizing activity to define the relation to other templates, which means that you can reference attributes that belong to other templates.
The modeling level specifies the modeling depth that can be referenced from the template you have entered. You can use, for example, the following modeling levels:
- Modeling level 1: A template can reference any other template.
- Modeling level 2: A template can reference another template, for example A, and any other templates referenced by it, for example B and C.
- Modeling level 3: A template can reference another template, for example A, any other templates referenced by it, for example B and C, and any other templates referenced by B and C.
Note
An increase of the modeling level is subject to an authorization check. To perform the authorization check, you need to be assigned to authorization role SAP_WCF_ES (transaction PFCG).
A decrease of the modeling level is not subject to an authorization check. However, you need to go to the Enterprise Search modeling workbench and save the template again, so that the changed level is visible in the model. Subsequently, you need to perform a model transfer.
