Activities

Copy SAP Skin to Your Own Business Server Page

You can copy SAP skins to your own BSP. If you want to adapt the copy to your own requirements, you can do so in the Customizing activity Define Skins. To copy a skin, proceed as follows:

  1. Select an SAP skin in the upper panel in the folder sap_skins.
  2. Click Copy SAP Skin or choose Copy SAP Skin in the context menu.
  3. Enter the following data:
    • Source SAP Skin
    • The name of the source skin is automatically entered in the field.
    • Target BSP
    • If you have selected a non-SAP skin in the lower panel of the workbench, the name of the target BSP is automatically entered in the field.
    • New Skin Name
    • New Skin Description
    • Add Skin to Personalization
    • If the checkbox is selected, the copied skin is made available on the central personalization page of the WebClient UI, under the layout settings.

After the SAP skin has been copied, enter a new skin folder name, in which the copied skin is made available in the skin workbench.

Download Skin Folder to Local Computer

You can download a skin folder from the upper panel, and also from the lower panel, to your local computer by selecting a folder and choosing Download folder content in the context menu.

Display All Images in Skin Folder

You can display all images in a skin folder by selecting the folder and choosing Image overview in the context menu. All images are displayed in a separate browser window, with their name and picture.

For more information about how to start the image overview, see SAP Note 1169508.

Preview and Display Properties of Individual Objects

You can select individual objects or files in a skin folder and then display the information about the objects by choosing the buttons on the right-hand side of the panel. You can preview graphics by choosing the Preview button. You can display the properties of a selected file, for example a CSS file, by choosing the Properties button.
