Use
In this IMG activity, you perform the necessary Customizing for fact sheets.
Note
If you want to change the configuration of fact sheets and adapt them to your personal needs, you need to do this in the fact sheet configuration within the component workbench.
In the following three scenarios, Customizing of fact sheets is necessary:
Scenario 1: You want to use a fact sheet with a tile layout that does not yet exist in Customizing
You can define the layout that is only relevant for pages with tiles. You need to define the name of the new tile layout, and the number of columns and rows. Then you define the tiles and their position and span in the grid.
For the grid definition, you need to make entries in the following fields:
- Tile ID: The tile ID is a unique identifier for a tile in a certain tile layout. It does not define the order of the tile.
- Column: The number defines the column position of the upper left corner of a tile in a layout
- Row: The number defines the row position of the upper left corner of a tile in a layout
- Colspan: The number defines the number of columns in the grid that a tile expands to the right
- Rowspan: The number defines the number of rows in the grid that a tile expands downwards
Example
In the T-shape, the first tile, which spans two cells, has the following values:
- Column: 1
- Row: 1
- Colspan: 2
- Rowspan: 1
Caution
When you define the grid, be careful that the tiles do not overlap or exceed the grid size. The order in a grid is from left to right, from top to bottom, and starts with ' 1 '.
Scenario 2: You want to assign your own views to an existing fact sheet
Note
First, you need to create your own fact sheet views by following certain rules in the component workbench.
In this IMG activity, you can then assign these views to a fact sheet. These views are then displayed in Available Fact Sheet Views in the fact sheet configuration within the component workbench.
Scenario 3: You want to create your own fact sheet
In this IMG activity, you can define your own fact sheets and assign fact sheet views to them.
Note
You can configure these views or create your own views in the fact sheet configuration of the component workbench. Before you can start your own fact sheet in the application, you need to change or enhance the coding of the application that calls the fact sheet.
Requirements
Standard settings
The following standard layout types are available for pages with tiles:
