Use
In this IMG activity, you can control restrictions when changing structured materials to suit customer requirements.
Requirements
Your system is set up as an SAP Retail system.
The standard system for enhancement WSTR_CHG_RESTRICTION (or another implementation that valuates the data entered here) must be activated.
Standard settings
In the standard system, the table is filled so that the system behavior is identical to the behavior in SAP R/3 4.6B and SAP R/3 4.6C.
Activities
If you want changes to structured materials to be less restrictive than in the standard system, you can make settings here accordingly.
When you activate an authorization check, the system valuates the authorization object W_STRU_CHG.
Before making changes to the standard behavior, ensure that you follow the documentation for the enhancement mentioned above.
Inconsistencies can occur if you change structured materials even though they may already be contained in purchase orders or sales documents, for example. You may therefore only make changes if you are fully aware of the consequences and take suitable measures to ensure that any necessary follow-up action is carried out.
