Use

With check classes, you can add your own logic for checking documents or items selected as source documents. This allows you to control whether the documents are relevant for association (on the fly and cross-reference) and action class. You can add your own check logic both before and after calling the association function.

Example

In your business scenario, you may want to check the availability of the association function based not on the TEW step, but rather on the item category of the source document. For such cases, you could add a check class before calling the association module.
