Use
You create your own business flow by combining several business steps and modes under a TEW type. The document selection range area appears in the TEW initial screen where you can define the following parameters for each step/mode combination:
Source Document Selection Type
Defines how lines of source documents are selected in the header and item list output of TEW
Target Document Selection Type
Defines how lines of target documents are selected in the header and item list output of TEW.
Subscreen Class
Use this field to assign classes using a subscreen called in the TEW initial screen (for example, the Association screen). The subscreen will be displayed in the lower part of the TEW initial screen.
Leading Header can be Selected in Source/Target Documents
If you check this field, the user can mark one specific document header from a group of selected documents. (This only makes sense if you create your own action classes and want to use the header data from a single document.) This flag is available for both source documents and target documents.
Example
If a user wants to create a billing document with a prestep Delivery. A possible selection step might include all preceding documents of the type Trading Contract or Delivery.
