Use
In this step, assign attributes to an existing class: These attributes enable the system to execute the class at the proper time and place in TEW.
SAP provides some action classes within the system. You also can create your own classes and assign attributes to them for specific business scenarios. The action class triggers the actual R/3 Enterprise processing. For each class, you define the following parameters:
R/3 Enterprise operation
Defines which R/3 Enterprise operation is executed
Operation type
Defines the type of entry that is called when processing a leading document . The options available are:
- Online Transaction: After execution in TEW, the screen switches to the data entry screen.
- Background: After execution in TEW, the system processes the data in the background.
- As a subscreen in TEW: After execution in TEW, the system displays another subscreen in the initial TEW screen. The operation called operation will be executed within this subscreen.
Source Document Type
Defines the referenced document type
Target Document Type
Defines the document type to be processed
Source Doc. Selection Type
Defines whether document headers or document items are used in the action class
TCode
You can assign a standard transaction code to an action class, if necessary.
