The condition types are placed between the calculation schema and the access sequences.
While the calculation schema determines the sequence of the data selection, the access sequences contain the conditions for data selection. Condition types are used to avoid a new access sequence (with numeroud different access requirements) being used in each individual calculation step. Condition types group the data selection together with similar access and place them together in the same access sequence. This avoids the creation of an overhead of data and definitions (for more information, see the example detailed below).
Condition types are also used to determine the types of the returned values. In addition to the fixed values, it could also be possible to determine percentages, multiplicators and divisors.
Use
Requirements
A profile must be created. For this profile, you must have defined access condition types.
Standard settings
In the standard, condition types for profile 0001 are delivered.
Activities
Example
The condition types P_PURC (goods receipts for a period) and P_MAUP (markups for a period) are used in sequence in the calculation schema. Both condition types use the same access sequence P_GOMO as data selection is normally only differentiated using the (access) condition types.
