Use

In this Customizing activity, you can configure the status mapping for the changing of initiative types.

When changing an initiative type in the production system, new decision points are assigned to the initiative. It may be that the possible statuses of the new decision points are different to the possible statuses of the old decision points. To ensure that the new decision point statuses reflect the statuses of the old decision points as closely as possible, you can map the statuses in this Customizing activity.

You can define status mapping between the decision points of source initiative types and permitted target initiative types for switching to.

Requirements

    You have maintained initiative types in the Customizing activity Define Initiative Types.

    Select Decision Point Mapping

  1. You select Initiative Type = Consulting Initiative
  2. Select the mapping for the decision point of the original initiative type to the decision point of the permitted initiative type to be switched to:
    • Decision Point = Specification
    • Target Type = Marketing Initiative
    • Target Decision Point = Formulate Mission
  3. Map the decision point statuses to the target decision point statuses:
