Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

To create new reports:

  1. Copy an existing report or create a completely new report.
  2. Maintain the following header attributes:
    • Text - The text is visible as a header in the WebDyn Pro application when the report is running.
    • Report type - Always use End-User
    • WebDyn Pro Name -
If you want to use the existing WebDyn Pro selection screen, then use GRPC_REPORT_SELECTION for Process Control reports and GRRM_REPORT_SELECTION for Risk Management reports.
If you want to add filters that are not supported by the standard selection screen, you can copy the GRPC_REPORT_SELECTION into the customer namespace, and then add filters on your own.
Note: This requires ABAP WebDynpro development experience.
    • Function group name - Use GRFN_REP_ENGINE as the default. You can use your own function group if you require special reporting functionality.
    • Application component - Use GRC-PC for Process Control reports. Use GRC-RM for Risk Management reports.
    • Cases - This defines the logic for the assessment/test selection.
    • Cases Editable - This defines if the attribute is available on the selection screen.

To maintain different versions of reports:

The application allows you to have multiple versions of a report. The versions can differ in some attributes, such as output fomat, columns, filters, walking strategy, or hierarchy.

To maintain different versions, enter the relevant information for the following attributes:

  • Report version - The ID of the version
  • Position - The order the version appears in the version list on the selection screen, such as 1, 2, and so on
  • Output Format - Flat or Hierarchy
  • Text, Description - The description of the version

To maintain report attributes:

  • Columns - This defines the relevant columns for the report. Use the value help to list of all the available columns.
Note: The columns must follow entities specified in the walking strategy, otherwise the column will be empty.
  • Column in Versions - You can specify for which versions of the report the column appears. For example, V1, V2, and so on means the column appears in those versions of the report.
To include the column in all versions of the report leave the field empty.
  • Filter - This defines the list of selection screen filters. It is possible to define the filter that is not visible on the selection screen and specify the filter value for it.
  • Filter in Versions - You can specify for which versions of the report the filter appears. For example, V1, V2, and so on means the filter appers in those versions of the report.
To include the filter in all versions of the report leave the field empty.
  • Walking Strategy - This is the most complex part in specifying the logic as to how the reporting engine loads the data.
Caution: You must understand the data model for the Process Controls application. We recommend referencing other SAP standard reports.
  • Hierarchy - This specifies the entities that should be used for building up the hierarchy in hierarchical reports.
  • Evaluation types - (Process Control reports only) - This defines what evaluation types should be read. The application supports the following:
    • CD    - Control Design Assessment
    • CE - Self-Assessment
    • PD - Subprocess design assessment
    • TE - Effectiveness test
    • MO - Monitoring
    • MCOU - iELC Assessment
    • MTOU - iELC Testing
    • RISK - Risk Assessment
    • CR - Control Risk Assessment
