Use
In this IMG activity, you maintain whether an employee is eligible for Education Grant (EG). The reasons for EG exceptions that are maintained in Reasons for Changes table (T530E) are displayed in this IMG activity. You check the Eg Elig indicator in this activity to specify that a particular reason for exception is applicable.
During the payroll run, the system checks for the EG exception reason maintained for an employee in Change Reason field of the NPO Education Grant infotype (0965). If you have maintained the particular reason as not eligible for EG in this activity, the employee does not receive any EG.
Standard settings
Existing exceptions are employees in general service and national officers for the following reasons :
- UN medical service (that means child is disabled and this has been confirmed by UN medical service)
- Staff member is on UN peacekeeping mission
