Use

In this IMG activity, you maintain the hardship classification used to classify duty stations.

There are different categories for the duty station. Each category carries a hardship entitlement that increases depending on the hardships in a particular location. All duty stations are classified in one of six categories as follows:

  • Duty stations represented by the letter H are headquarter locations where the organization has no developmental or humanitarian assistance programs.
  • Duty stations represented by the letters A to E are field duty stations.

Requirements

Standard settings

In the standard SAP delivery system, the system displays all the categories that are currently defined. We recommend that you do not change these values.

Activities

  1. Select New Entries.
  2. Enter the Duty Station Hardship Classification in HS Class field.
  3. Enter Harship Classification text
  4. Enter the modifier that determines whether the duty station is a Headquarter or field in the C Modifier field. You can also number the stations in sequence.
  5. Enter the Hardship Classification CMT Sequence Number in CMT SeqNr field.
  6. Save your entries.
