Use
In this IMG activity, you indicate whether the Duty Station is designated or not.
At designated locations, where educational facilities are inadequate, boarding costs for children at the primary or secondary level may be reimbursed. The reimbursement amount is in addition to the standard maximum amount of education grant. This can be up to:
- 100 per cent
- A maximum of specified amount
Requirements
Define and assign Personnel Areas and Subareas to the corresponding duty stations. To do this, maintain the following IMG activities:
- Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Human Resource Management -> Personal Areas
- Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Human Resource Management -> Personal Subareas
- Basic Settings for Duty Station -> Create Duty Station
- Basic Settings for Duty Station -> Assignment of Duty Station
Standard settings
Activities
To assign the Duty Station as designated select the Designated indicator against the particular Duty Station.
To assign the value to a Duty Station that is not already listed in the standard settings:
- Select New Entries.
- Select the Duty Station in the DS field.
- Enter the validity period.
- Select the Designated indicator.
- Save your entries.
