Use

In this IMG activity, you map position type to fund ID. The system determines the fund allocated for a position type based on the mapping of fund ID and position type.

You maintain attributes of a position in the Position Attributes infotype (1081). In this infotype, you have to specify a fund ID and a position type. The system reads this table to validate the combination of fund ID and position type entered by you in the Position Attributes infotype (1081). If you have not maintained the mapping for the combination of the position type and fund ID entered by you on the infotype screen, the system displays an error message.

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Select the fund ID.
  3. Select the position type.
  4. Save your entries.

Example

Consider you have a fund ID F1 and a position type P1. Consider that funding for P1 is provided by F1, then you should maintain the mapping as follows:

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Select the fund ID as F1.
  3. Select the position type as P1.
  4. Save your entries.
