Use

In this IMG activity you define number ranges for customer contact persons per target system.

This allows you to override the standard settings for the distribution, so that you can distribute customer master data via ALE into the target systems, with the numbers of the contact persons in the target system being different from the corresponding numbers in the hub system.

Depending on your entries you can override the contact persons numbers in the target system by entering a number range object and a number range.

Requirements

Standard settings

In the standard system no entries are delivered. The system tries to creates customer contact persons in the target system with the same number as in the hub system. If a specific partner number is already assigned to another customer the DEBMAS IDoc will run into an error during the inbound in the client system.

Caution

Wrong or inconsistent entries in this IMG activity may result in corrupt key mapping, which afterwards has to be corrected manually.
