Use

In this Customizing activity, you can define the attributes which the system displays in the object header of an initiative, initiative template, item, and item template.

The object header of an object shows its portfolio hierarchy, phase gates (phases and decision points or WBS elements and decision points), and some attributes, such as ID, description, type, and icons. The icons can include budget status, schedule status, staffing status, and so on.

You can also define the attributes of a bucket which the system displays in the Portfolio Structure Graphic in this Customizing activity.

Activities

To display additional object attributes in the object header, perform the following steps:

  1. Select the object header type by selecting the work area Initiative Header, Initiative Template Header, Item Header, or Item Template Header.
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. Select the field which should be displayed in the object header from the Field Name column. Do not enter a field name manually but use the input help because the system does not display all fields in the object header.
  4. Define the order in which the system displays the fields in the Field Order column.

To display bucket attributes in the portfolio structure graphic, perform the following steps:

  1. Select the work area Portfolio Structure Graphic Attributes.
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. Select the field which should be displayed in the portfolio structure graphic node from the Field Name column. Do not enter a field name manually but use the input help because the system does not display all fields in the portfolio structure graphic node.
  4. Define the order in which the system displays the fields in the Field Order column.
