Use
In this Customizing activity, you can maintain the attributes for the synchronization scenarios. The system uses these attributes during synchronization in a particular scenario for a given pair of objects.
Requirements
You have maintained the required scenario IDs in Customizing for SAP Portfolio and Project Management under Base System Interfaces -> Decision Flow Management Settings -> Attribute Synchronization-> Define Scenario ID.
Standard settings
Activities
- Choose Source Grouping from the dropdown list. This value indicates the source object that will trigger the synchronization with a target object.
- Choose Target Grouping from the dropdown list. This value indicates the target object that will synchronize with the chosen source object.
- Select the required operations and types of synchronization behavior. The following options are available:
- Create Target Object and Synchronize
- Update
- Delete
- Create with Default Values from UI
- Choose Scenario ID from the dropdown list. The scenario ID indicates the scenario for the chosen source-target object pair when the chosen process is being executed on the source object.
Example
You want to assign the operation and synchronization behavior Create Target Object and Synchronize to the scenario ID Initial Create for the source grouping Item and the target grouping Project. To do this, fill out the table as follows:
