The following SAP enhancements (function module exits) and business add-ins (BAdIs) are available for generating correspondence in the Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives and Securities application areas.

These include the following function module exits:

  1. SAPscript output (Media: Print, fax, e-mail)

    The enhancement uses the SMOD_RFTBCOEX BADI. For release EA-FINSERV 2.00, the old SMOD/CMOD enhancement RFTBCOEX has been migrated to a BAPI. This migration must also be carried out by the customer when upgrading (transaction SPAU).
  2. SWIFT file generation

    Enhancement RFTXX300 (MT300 Fields)
    Enhancement RFTXX301 (MT300 Header)
    Enhancement RFTXX302 (MT300 Trailer)

    Enhancement RFTXX320 (MT320 Fields)
    Enhancement RFTXX321 (MT320 Header)
    Enhancement RFTXX322 (MT320 Trailer)
  3. IDoc generation

    Enhancement RFTBCOEX (Function module exit: EXIT_RFTBCOEX_500)
  4. Correspondence monitor

    Enhancement RFTBCOMO

A business add-in is also available for inbound confirmations via the IDoc interface (message type FTRCON):

  1. Inbound confirmation (IDoc):

Activities (customer exits)

  1. Call up transaction CMOD.
  2. Create the enhancement either by creating a new project or using an existing project.
  3. Activate the project.

    Your enhancement only becomes effective when the project has been activated.

Activities (business add-ins)

  1. Call up transaction SE18 (BAdI Builder)
  2. Enter the definition name FTR_CORR_INC_100
  3. Create an implementation. (Menu: Implementation -> Create) Note that you have to implement all methods.
  4. Activate the implementation.

    Your enhancement only becomes effective when you have activated it.

Further notes

Unlike modifications, enhancements can be included in releases as they are not made in the SAP original but in a namespace reserved for customers.
