Use

In this IMG activity you can freely define six attributes to describe foreign currency exposures. In addition to these attributes that you define yourself, the fixed attributes company code and country are available.

Note: When entering exposures (online or using BAPI), the attributes are checked with this value table.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Choose in the dialog structure Headings/Attributes and then New Entries.
  2. Choose an Attribute Number and specify a short text, a description, and a long description.
  3. Save your entries.
  4. Select an attribute line and choose Attribute Values and Attribute Texts in the dialog structure.
  5. Select New Entries.
  6. Specify the permitted attribute values and a short description for the indidividual attributes.
  7. Save your entries.

Example

You can use the free attributes to define, for example, Project, Segment, or Region as exposure characteristics. You can specify the following, for example, as permitted attribute values:

  • AMERICAS     - North and South America
  • APA        - Asia, Pacific, Australia
  • EMEA        - Europe, Middle East, Africa
