In this table, you assign a condition type to a tax type. The assignment of the condition type determines what parameters will be available for tax rate maintenance.

Example

The assignment of the condition type 1234 Tax Rate results in the following parameters being made available for Tax Rate Maintenance:

Ship-From Country/Tax Event

Product Tax Group/BP Tax Group

Product Tax Group

Country (Default Rates)

Tax types and Condition types have been maintained.

Standard settings

Recommendation

The SAP standard condition type for tax types is 1001.

Activities

  1. Select the required country.
  2. Select the tax type.
  3. Assign the condition type.
  4. Save your entries.

Further notes

To ascertain which fields are connected to a condition type, proceed as follows:

In Maintain Condition Type, doubleclick the condition type to display details

In the Details, you will see the access sequence.

In Maintain Access Sequences, select the required access sequence and choose Accesses.

A list of the condition tables used in this access sequence is displayed.

In Maintain Condition Tables, you can generate the condition table and display its fields.
