Use

In this step, you map the liability wage types created by payroll in the original tax company to substitute wage types in the common paymaster tax company to ensure that amounts in those wage types are posted properly. In this way, liability wage types are posted to the common paymaster "parent" tax company, rather than to the tax company where the employee actually performs the work.

Requirements

Do not perform this step unless you have activated Concurrent Employment functionality within your system.

Activities

  1. Execute this IMG step.
  2. On the subsequent screen, review the wage type mappings - if any are present - that have been recorded to exist among the tax companies in your enterprise.

    For every wage type recorded beneath the From WT column for the original tax company, the wage type defined within the To WT column is the wage type in the common paymaster tax company that is used to perform posting.
  3. Define (or revise) the wage type mappings that have been established among tax companies in your enterprise, delimiting the validity of these relationships where appropriate.
  4. Save your entries, exit this view, and initiate common paymaster processing.
