Use

In this step, you activate common paymaster functionality within your system.

Requirements

Do not perform this step unless you have activated Concurrent Employment functionality within your system.

Standard settings

As delivered, payroll function UCPFI - located within payroll schema UNNC, or its equivalent in the customer name range - is inactive (that is, commented out), meaning that common paymaster functionality cannot be processed until you activate payroll function UCPFI.

Activities

  1. Execute this IMG step.
  2. On the subsequent screen, choose Change to modify payroll schema UNNC.
  3. On the screen thereafter, delete the asterisk associated with payroll function UCPFI to activate common paymaster functionality within your system.

    If your enterprise uses a customer-specific equivalent of schema UNNC, then perform this action there instead.
  4. Save schema UNNC, generate it, then proceed to the next step of the Implementation Guide.
