Use

In this IMG activity, you can create an index number (unique ID).

You can assign an index number listed here to a new employee in Personal Numbers infotype (0964).

Activities

  1. Check if the index number you want to create is unique. To do this:
    1. Choose Position.
    2. Enter the number you want to create in Identity Number field. If number exists, the system displays it. You then have to create another number.
  2. Save the unique index number. To do this:
    1. Select New Entries.
    2. Enter the number in Identity Number field.
    3. Save your entries.
