Use
In this IMG activity, you can define the duration of the academic year.
The duration of the academic year is a basis for prorations of entitlements and other calculations.
If there is only one possible duration for the school year, you enter the value in the parameter EG_DEF_LENGTH_SYEAR.
If there are more than one possible duration for the school year, you can create a new constant or maintain the values in the following constants:
- EGSY1- In the standard syatem, the value of this constant is 10 months.
- EGSY2 - In the standard syatem, the value of this constant is 6 months.
- EGSY3 - In the standard syatem, the value of this constant is 12 months.
You must set the default value of the academic year in the Default Value for Education Grant School Year feature (UNEGS). The return value of this feature indicates the duration of the school year in months.

Standard settings
If there is only one possible duration of the school year, the duration of the year is set to 10 months in the standard system.
