Use
In this IMG activity, you can set the recovery date for Education Grant (EG).
An employee receives advance payments towards EG at the start of the academic year. At the end of the academic year, the employee submits the bills. However, if the bills submitted are lower in value than the advance payments received, the employee has to return the difference amount. This difference amount is recovered from the employee starting from the recovery date you set in this activity.
To maintain the recovery dates for EG, you can create a new constant or maintain the values in the following constants:
- EGRC1- In the standard system, the value of this constant is three months.
- EGRC2 - In the standard system, the value of this constant is four months.
- EGRC3 - In the standard system, the value of this constant is five months.
Note
To create a new constant, maintain the constants as ZGCRn, where n is a number.
You must set the default value for recovery date in the Default Value for Education Grant Recovery Date feature (UNEGD). The return value of this feature indicates the recovery date. In the feature, the default recovery date is set as EGRC1.
