In this step objects containing the number areas which can be used by companies to generate the number on the remuneration statement are generated.
Example
In January the numbering for 5000 CID is generated: the numbering will be 1-5000.
In February the numbering will be 5001-10,001;
If in March there are 2 employees less than in February, the numbering will be 10,002 + 4498 = 14,499.
A template could be the HR_IT_IT01 whose documentation can be read with the Help-> Application Help.
Requirements
Standard settings
Each time that the program is run, the number can be automatically updated.
If the numbering of the remuneration statement needs to be manually changed, this operation can be carried out with the SNRO transaction.
Recommendation
The area should be the same as 'HR_IT_IT01' and have the 'NUM10' domain.
The assigned name should fall within the ones allowed to the user and start with 'Y' or 'Z'.
Activities
Create a number area for each numbering to be carried out.
This means that if different numberings for each company are required it will be necessary to create as many number areas as the number of companies.
Further notes
The current number is automatically updated by the report. It is the number following the last one used to number a remuneration statement.
