To calculate the temporary work incapacity payment made by the IMSS (Mexican Institute for Social Insurance) and that made by the company, it is necessary:
- to distinguish between unpaid and paid absence days,
- to distinguish between the unpaid and the paid part of an absence,
- to specify up to what day the incapacity is not subsidized.
On the other hand and according to art. 31 of the Social Insurance Act, it is necessary to identify the first 7 days of an absence to be able to determine employer contributions to Social Insurance.
Standard settings
In the standard SAP system, this is carried out by function MXNAB in subschema MXAB.
