In this IMG activity, you define the valid business associate types that you would like to use on your system. Each business associate type is either a vendor or customer, because the BA record is linked with either a vendor or customer in SAP Core. For business associate creation, you will almost always use vendor. In specific other non-Ownership situations, you might use customer.
The table entries in this customizing table are delivered as standard by SAP. You can, however, add your own business associate types to the table. To do that, select Change and then New Entries, add your entries, and then save them.
