Use

In this Customizing activity, you make the settings required to adapt SAP workflows to Risk Management. Only carry out this activity if you want to use the scenarios supported by SAP for Risk Management.

In normal workflows, you can configure the possible workflow agents per workflow. In Risk Management, this function is delegated to a so-called "general task". The application then automatically carries out the assignments.

Activities

To work with SAP tasks and workflows in Risk Management, proceed as follows:

  1. You must first classify all tasks as "general tasks".
  2. For this, select the line GRC -> GRC-RM, and then click on the link called Assign Agents.
  3. A screen with all the workflow tasks for Risk Management displays.
  4. By putting your cursor on a line and choosing the Attributes button, you can change the attributes for a task. In the popup that displays, make sure that the task is classified as a general task. This applies to all tasks which are not background tasks.
  5. Next, you need to activate the event linking. For this, return to the start screen and then click on Activate event linking.
  6. A screen with the triggering events opens. Here you select a workflow for processing.
Note: Only some of the tasks and workflows have triggering events. The ones that do have a triangular expansion symbol in front of the name of the triggering event. If you click on the symbol, the event entered as the triggering event is displayed.
  7. If the button that displays to the right is deactivated, you can activate this linkage by clicking on the button. The button turns green and has the text Activated.
  8. You do not need to save the data.
