Description

The Shipping type defines the means by which product is transported along a particular leg of a route. The Shipping type is linked to the Mode of Transport and, as a result, determines the Mode of Transport for a Transport System of that Shipping type. It also determines whether the Mode of Transport is relevant to TSW processes.

For each Shipping type enter a description, select a Mode of Transport, and select a Shipping Type Scheme (used to determine the pricing procedure for shipment cost calculation).
