In this IMG activity, you can make group types relevant to certain processes in the Sales and Distribution (SD) component. For example, you can define which goup type is TPI-relevant.

You can decide which group type you want to use on company code, plant, and sales order type level. The group types correspond to different fields in the material master record. The following group types are available:

  • LG - Loading group (MARC-LADGR)
  • MM - Material group (MARA-MATKL)
  • TD - TD product compatibility group (MARA-OIGROUPNAM)
  • TG - Transportation group (MARA-TRAGR)
