In this IMG activity, you can specify:
- How long table records should stay in the system before they are archived and
- Maintain the checking status for payment cards.
The table for archiving control is structured as follows:
- Table: Name of the table to archive
- Company code: Id. of the company code. This field should be empty for the payment card tables.
- Months: Residence time in months
- S: Indicator to skip the payment card checks.
- Validity: Date up to which the checks will not be performed.
The residence time is set for the table/company code to be archived.
If no residence time at all is entered, tables will be archived using the residence time specified for the archiving process.
If you want to set a single residence time for different company codes of the same table, you leave the company code field blank and enter the desired time period. The residence time will then be used for all company codes for which a different time has not already been defined.

The residence time of table OIRC_GMMH records belonging to company code GOIL will be 3 months.

Activities
You can enter different residence times for each table/company code.
Maintain the the checking logic for the payment card tables. You can enter if the checks will be executed for payment card tables. You can also set the date limit to skip the checks.
Further notes
The residence time is counted in months starting from the the last day of the previous month. For example, a residence time of 3 months executed on May 14th means that the records will be archived if the date is older or equal than January 31st.
