A sales meter only has a limited number of decimal places. Therefore after longer sales periods without meter re-sets a rollover of a counter can occur when the number of decimal places is not sufficient any more.
This business add-in enables you to define your own logic for a meter rollover check.
- MR_ROLLOVER_CONTROLS is called in the meter reading event check during meter reading inbound processing.
Example
The sales quantities are stored as positive values. When a rollover occurs the calculation of the sales amount results in a very high value. You could therefore check whether a certain tolerance quantity is exceeded.
