Description
In this step you define the completion strategy for fuels dip readings processes.
In addition to company code the determination requires location type, SOC event type, and process.
Example
Co.code Loc.type SOC event Upld.proc. Compl. strategy
GOIL STCC Q FS01 001
GOIL STCD Q FS01
GOIL STCC Q FS03 001
For a company owned, company operated location type (STCC) it is necessary to create material movements (MM1) for the dip readings differences. For a company owned, dealer operated location type material movements are required only when the stocks correction process (FSO3) is performed.
Completion Strategy Subsequent processes
001 Material movement creation (MM1)
The dip readings upload process (FS01) is not relevant for company owned, dealer operated locations because no subsequent process requires this data. The dip reading process could be relevant at the company owned, company operated location to generate automatic material movementcorrections for stock differences. Therefore you do not link a completion strategy to the combination of STCD and FS01 but you link completion strategy 001 to the combination of STCC and FS01.
The stock level correction process (FS03) is now executed only for company owned, company operated locations and material movements are always required.
The inclusion of the upload process in the determination key provides anextra level of flexibility for situations where the same dip reading data will be used in unrelated processes. This level of customizing may not always be necessary.
Requirements
Before starting this step, in Customizing for mySAP Oil&Gas you must maintain the:
- Location type by choosing SSR -> Business Location Master Data -> Business Location Type -> Define business location type with screen configuration
- Upload process by choosing SSR -> Process Control -> Process definition
The process must exist at the level of process definition. It is not necessary to define any process dependencies for the purpose of document base table customizing. This level of customising should only be maintained if the full process control functionality is required.
