You assign a business type relevance to screens, data sections and fields used in the business location master record.
If the business type relevance of a data section is 2 (general level - no access, business type level - maintainable for only 1) or 5 (general level - display only, business type level - maintainable for only 1), you must assign a lead business type here. This defines which business type you have to select to allow maintenance within this data section.
To define the business type relevance of customer-defined data sections, choose Business Location Master Data -> Control Data -> Define customer data section
Data sections from SAP have a predefined business type relevance.
