Description

In this step you define the retail network business types.
Processes such as sales data capturing, sales settlement, reporting and so on, might work differently for different lines of business. Business types are used to differentiate these lines of business.
As different lines of business might be administered by different people, access authorization to location master maintenance is restricted according to business type.
For each business type you need to specify whether it relates to the fuels (bulk), merchandise or car wash business, or none of these. These settings determine whether different functions or services can be made available to the station manager via the Internet or Intranet.
You can also:
- Define a logical destination. The logical destination refers to an SAP system in which this business type is handled.
- Enter the URL of the ITS for the logical destination.
Example
Fuels, convenience store and car wash are typical service station business types.
