In this IMG activity, you can:

  • Deactivate the indicator that requires you to make a driver-vehicle assignment before trip planning (transaction O4PP) can start. This Customizing option is at transportation planning point level.

    When the driver-vehicle assignment is deactivated, the system displays a different selection screen for trip planning (transaction O4PP). On this screen, you can enter selection criteria as a range and independent of the driver-vehicle assignment.

  • Set the indicator for the estimated time of arrival.

    If the indicator for the estimated time or arrival is set:

    • The system defaults the estimated time of arrival from table OIK37.
    • You can enter the estimated time of arrival in the shipment planning workbench.
  • Set the indicator for equal assignment.

    When you create multiple shipments with identical vehicles, driver shifts, and trips, the system carries out one of the following checks:

    • Whether the scheduling date is identical for all shipments. For the system to carry out this check, the Equal Assignment indicator must be set.
    • Whether the loading date is identical for all shipments. For the system to carry out this check, the Equal Assignment Indicator must not be set.
  • Set the indicator for not defaulting the trip sequence in the shipment planning workbench (transaction O4PP).
  • Set the indicator for not defaulting the total quantity in the shipment planning workbench (transaction O4PP).
  • Maintain the maximum value for the shipment status.

    On the selection screen for trip planning (transaction O4PP), the system defaults the maximum value from Customizing.
