In this IMG activity, you can define values for an industry term (such as EDQ or COPAS) that the system uses within a formula to calculate pricing.

Reference date exit -- 201 (for run ticket date)
RDOff -- 3 (for 1st day of current month which equates to Jan 1, 2001)
Time unit of measure -- 3 for month
Period before -- <leave blank>
Period after -- 1 (equates to Jan 31, 2001, which is one month, or time unit, after Jan 1, 2001)
With these entries, the system assumes EDQ and bases pricing on those prices in effect from Jan 1, 2001 to Jan 31, 2001.
Example of COPAS Pricing -- Entries for a Run Ticket Dated Jan 8, 2001
Reference date exit -- 201 (for run ticket date)
RDOff -- 1 (for no offset)
Time unit of measure -- <leave blank>
Period before -- <leave blank>
Period after -- <leave blank>
With these entries, the system uses pricing in effect on Jan 8, 2001.
Example of Metered Sales Oil Pricing Entries for a Pipeline Metered Jan 1, 2001 to Jan 15, 2001
Reference date exit -- 200 (for sales date)
RDOff -- 1 (for no offset)
Time unit of measure -- 201 (for range)

With 201 (range) specified in the Time unit of measure field, the system uses both the sales from and sales to dates as the range for pricing.

With these entries, the system selects the price entered on the first day of the month. If no price exists on the first day of the month, an error occurs.
