The State Default Interest Rates table contains the default interest rate by state code and major product code. Each state requiring processing should be customized.

When the system retreives the grace period for the state and major product code, it calculates the interest specified here, if the number of days that the check is held is greater than the grace period. The grace period defaults to 25 days.
