In this IMG activity, you make your customizing settings per report.

You only have to make these settings once. Here, you define how the report is to be run (this activity - Regulatory Reporting Customizing - defines how the report is to be set up, whereas the Regulatory Reporting Master Data Setup defines how the O3UREP_MASTER screen will be set up).

Please note:

The IMG menu functions in this activity function in a 'drill-down' manner. Each entry in the menu is dependent on the entry above it. For example, you first choose Reporting Agencies, and then in the frame at right, choose an agency. Then, you double-click on Reports in the frame at the left, and from the reports that are defaulted at right, choose one or more reports from the frame at the right, and proceed in that manner down the menu until you have made all your selections.

Note: The top section of this documentation details how you customize this in general. Please see the bottom section of this documentation for information relevant to specific reports.

To carry out this customizing activity (general description):

1. In the screen frame at the left, under Dialog Structure, choose Reporting Agencies (by double-clicking on it).

The full list of reporting agencies that is available is displayed in the screen frame at right.

2. Select the relevant reporting agency (the agency/state that you will be reporting to).

3. At left, double-click on Reports. This will cause the full list of reports that are relevant for that agency to be displayed at right.

4. Select a report.

5. At left, now double-click on Maintainable fields. For the chosen report, the table will display a listing of column type, field name, and the field text. Select one.

6. At left, you can now select (double click on):

- Agency values - the agency's own code for each entry. The description given by the relevant agency for each code, based on the maintainable fields selection you made. For example, for well status as maintainable fields, 01 = Actively drilling. You can add entries to this table if the agency, for example, adds a new code. In this part, you are mapping agency codes to your own codes.

- Column Rules - You set up the column rules here. Rules define what fields you can use with the disposition code (the disposition code represents what happens with a specific product). Each non-volume column on the report can be flagged as required or prohibited. Non-volume columns can be overwritten per generic line key. For each code value, define which fields are required or prohibited. Example: for well status 17, which indicates well work in progress, days production is prohibited (P).

- Standard Text - Only make entries here, if you would like comments to be printed on the account.

- Rounding Differences - This section is used when related reports are linked (in other words, the data is combined), but there are rounding differences between the two reports. Here, you specify to the system, if there is a rounding difference, how the system should deal with it.

Notes on the set-up of specific reports:

Specific for MMS REPORTING:

- Common Table - The MMS well status is derived from the SAP well status, well class, and production method (which are maintained on the Well Completion Dated screen in Production). That relationship is maintained in the Regulatory Reporting Common Table.

On the Regulatory Reporting Common Table for Agency Codes cross reference screen, the MMS status can be derived from:

- SAP well status (Key 1)

- SAP well status (Key 1) plus SAP Well class (Key 2)

- SAP well status (Key 1), SAP well class (Key 2), and SAP Production Method (Key 3)

The associated MMS well status is cross-referenced in the Agency Val field.

Set the Addl.Proc. flag if a reason code is required for the MMS well status.

MMS reason codes are also maintained in the Regulatory Reporting Common Table (reason codes define the reason why a well is down . not producing). The MMS reason code is derived from the SAP Downtime Reason Code (Key1). Set the Addl. Proc

Information specific to the TEXAS H-10 Report:

In the IMG, for Texas H-10, there are only two relevant activities: a. defining the districts that you want to report on in Texas, per month, and b. setting up the units of measure.

To do the first (defining the Texas districts that you want to report on per month):

1. In Reporting Agencies, select TXR for Texas Railroad Commission (the agency).

2. Double-click on Reports and Choose H_10.

3. Now, at left, double-click on Maintainable Fields. Select a field, and...

4. Double click on Common Table.

In the Common Table area - Here, you are setting up which districts you want to report on for that month. The 'Key Value' field corresponds to districts that you can find on the Reg. ID screen tab on the O3UREP_MASTER screen (when the agency field = Texas RRC). For example, 01 is a district in Texas, 02 is a different district in Texas. The Texas H-10 Report is a yearly report, so on this IMG screen, you are saying to the system, I want to report on the following districts for this month (the reason that month is relevant is that, although the Texas H-10 report is a yearly report, there is a start month for that year, and that start month does not have to be January).

The only other important customizing setting there is setting up the unit of measure that you will use, but that is self-explanatory. (Double-click on the Unit of Measures IMG activity at the left and make your entries).
