In this activity, you define the processes available within the returns document. Each process includes the specification of a function that is used to perform a particular action or task for one or more items in the returns document.

Often the process will create a subsequent (or follow-on) document using returns BDC rules to map field values from the retruns items to the screens of the relevant SAP transaction. Information about the document is passed back to the returns application, so that a link can be made between the two documents. Remote Logistics Management includes processes for creating most standard subsequent documents, but the customer may add more processes as required.
