In this activity, you enter the plants and optionally the storage locations that are to be processed by Remote Logistics Management (RLM). You can choose either plant or storage location as the basis for supply in RLM to represent your remote and base locations.

If you use plants to represent your remote and base locations, there is no need to define any storage locations, and each plant should be identified as either remote or base.

If you use storage locations to represent your remote and base locations, you will need to identify your plants as unspecified (that is, neither remote nor base, and then define the storage locations within the plant that will be used by RLM). Each of the storage locations should be identified as remote or base.
