This option allows packing materials to be assigned to container types.

During packing, Remote Logistics Management (RLM) uses this assignment to see if a shipping unit will be processed as a container.

This option is also available in the standard SAP Easy Access menu for RLM, since it relates to master data as well as Customizing data. For the same reason, the entries in this Customizing activity will not be transported automatically, but can be transported manually by selecting the transport option within the configuration dialog.
