Here you can implement a filter-dependent Business Add-In (BAdI) to define additional default routines for incoming information messages from partners. You can modify or add to the incoming data before the system stores the data with the corresponding Peg ID. You can also configure the system to fill appended fields in the internal structures.
The BAdI includes a method for validation. The system calls this method, when you peg or unpeg items. For example, you can use the BAdI to perform validation based on a particular pegging type. The system calls this method, after mapping all incoming data to the appropriate internal structures.
To enable the BAdI implementation for a particular pegging type, you must assign a BAdI filter to the pegging type in Customizing for Define pegging type.
