In sales documents you can define rules that determine which event types are required or forbidden in Nominations using the sales document. Here you can specify the events that the system is to default into the sales documents by assigning these events to the document type.

You enter the sales document type and the event that you want the system to propose in all sales documents of this type. You define the events in Customizing for Transportation and Distribution (TD) under Event Handling. You select the attribute for the event, such as required or forbidden. Depending on the attribute you select, the event is either mandatory or not allowed for the associated nomination.
