Here you specify parameters for the Stock Projection Worksheet. The following parameters can be set:

Real-time Stock Projection

Here you can activate or deactivate the real-time update of the TSW Stock Projection Worksheet. If you activate the TSW real-time stock projection, the system updates the Stock Projection Worksheet each time you save a TSW nomination, a TSW ticket, or a TSW-relevant sales or purchase order.

Stock Projection disaggregation

Depending on your selection here, the Stock Projection Worksheet is disaggregated either by batch or valuation type. The system uses either the batch or the valuation type from the documents and nominations as the basis for the Stock Projection Worksheet. The Stock Projection Worksheet output report shows the disaggregation and the totals.

Stock Projection logic

The selection you make here determines if the Stock Projection Worksheet logic is based on the Starting Day Inventory logic or the Day End Inventory logic. If the Starting Day Inventory logic is selected, the nominations from the current day are used to determine the inventory for the next day. When the Day End logic is selected, the nominations from the current day are used to determine the inventory for the current day.

Rack forecast correction logic

The selection you make here determines if the TSW rack issue forecast corrections in the Stock Projection Worksheet are added to the rack issue forecast or if they overwrite the forecast.

Past days what-if figures

Here you determine if the what-if column of the Stock Projection Worksheet contains the physical inventory or the SAP book inventory. Because the base column always shows the SAP book inventory, it is recommended to show the physical inventory in the what-if column for past days.

Stock Projection nomination dates

Here you select if nominations are displayed in the Stock Projection Worksheet on the scheduled date of the nomination item or on the end date of the ticket.

Multiple nominations

Here you specify how you want to view a listing of multiple nominations in the Stock Projection Worksheet. You can select the option to view a drilled-up list, that is, to view a sum of all the nomination quantities for the specified date. You can select the option to view a drilled-down list, that is to individually list each nomination and quantity for the specified date.

Various Stock Projection Worksheet settings

You can specify what day is used as the starting day for the Stock Projection Worksheet. You can select the following start day options for the Stock Projection Worksheet:

  • Starting day is the system date minus the specified days in the past
  • Starting day is one day prior to the last physical inventory update

You can enter the number of decimal places that are shown for all of the quantity figures displayed in the Stock Projection Worksheet. You can enter a maximum of three decimal places.

The Heel quantity is unused inventory in a tank, that is a residual quantity. Here you can assign a TSW location constraint to the Heel quantity. The .Subtract Heel. functionality in the Stock Projection Worksheet uses the constraint value assigned to the Heel.

When you select Plus/minus combined in SPW, the Stock Projection Worksheet displays all the quantity figures in the same column. To differentiate between incoming and outgoing quantities, the goods issues are preceeded by - and the goods receipts by +.

When you select Physical inventory in both columns, the physical inventory columns in the Stock Projection Worksheet display both the physical inventory for days in the past and for future days. This means that the calculation is based on the physical inventory alone, not on the SAP book inventory.

You can select Generate Stock Projection worklist automatically, so that the system automatically generates a worklist each time you enter the Stock Projection Worksheet.

When you select Use reported quantities functionality, the Stock Projection Worksheet displays the sum of all nomination quantities that you have NOT manually entered as reported quantities. Thus the sum represents the unreported quantities of the location inventory. To enter reported quantities, you use the Report Into Inventory dialog box in the Stock Projection Worksheet. You can use the dialog box to enter nomination quantities that have not been confirmed by a ticket. When the Use reported quantities functionality is not selected, the Stock Projection Worksheet displays the sum of all nomination quantities that have not been confirmed by actualized tickets.

An update of the inventory based on reported quantities, rather than actualized tickets, is only useful when the physical inventory is the basis for the Stock Projection Worksheet, rather than the SAP book inventory. A Business Add-In (BAdI) is provided to define how the system uses the reported quantities to calculate the inventory.

When you select Object selection via tree control, the Stock Projection Worksheet displays the selection items in a tree. When you select this indicator, you can select the items from the hierarchy in the tree rather than by entering your selections in the entry fields. If you enter multiple stock projection items using the multiple selection dialog box, the selected items automatically appear in the tree control.

When you select Show documents in what-if pop-up, the system displays relevant documents in the what-if pop-up, as well as in the what-if columns, and reference document columns of the Stock Projection Worksheet.
