In this step, you define job rules and their attributes so that the job can be used as an additional criterion in the eligibility process.

Example

You want to award a bonus to persons who occupy specific jobs. To do this, you can define a job rule and definition that can then be entered in the appropriate eligibility rule.

  1. Determine which job rules you want to define
  2. Choose New entries
  3. Enter a name and a text for your job rule
  4. Choose Definition in the navigation area and then choose New entries to access the rule's detail screen
  5. Enter the relevant job codes

Note

On the detail screen for your rule, you can define the rule's validity in such a way that, you can either define a low to high, meaning that all persons occupying jobs with job codes that fall between the low and high values are eligible, or you can just define a low, meaning that all the persons occupying the job with that particular job code are eligible.
