In this step, you define job keys for the salary surveys in your system.

Salary survey job keys are general external classifications of job, which are linked to internal jobs in your company. You can link these classifications to jobs/positions in your company using the Survey Results infotype (1051).

Requirements

  • You have defined salary surveys in the previous step.
  • Job and salary data from the salary survey is available.

Standard settings

The system contains specimen entries which you can use as they are or change accordingly.

Recommendation

Activities

You summarize all jobs from all salary surveys with the following data:

  1. Choose New entries.

    The detail screen appears.

  2. Define a validity period for the salary survey.
  3. Select a salary survey.
  4. Enter a job key from the survey.
  5. Enter a job text and other necessary data, average salary, average bonus, currency, unit of time, for example.
  6. Save your entries.
