In this step, you determine how the wage type amount, which is to be used as a calculation base for compensation adjustments, is calculated.

Example

You want the adjustment type annual bonus to be calculated as a percentage of the sum of the wage types MA10 and MA20. To set this up, you need to do the following for each wage type:

  1. Enter ANSAL in the Module field.
  2. In the Valuated wage type field, enter CSAL or another wage type valuated according to the ANSAL module.

    You can check which wage types are valuated according to the ANSAL module in the step Check Wage Type Characteristics.

  3. Enter a sequential number and specify a validity period.
  4. In the Base WT field, enter MA10 or MA20.
  5. In the step Assign Adjustment Types, assign the adjustment type Annual bonus as the calculation basis to the wage type CSAL or to the wage type you entered in step 2.

  1. Create new entries based on your requirements and the definitions created in the step Define Wage Type Characteristics.
  2. Enter the module you want to use.
  3. Enter the relevant wage types.
  4. Save your entries.

Further notes

The system does not evaluate the Percentage field for the ANSAL module.
